About Me

Hello, my name is Kayleigh Gunn.

After more than 10 years working in education as an educator in both mainstream and remedial school settings, I developed a strong interest in the holistic psychological development of the individual, recognising the importance of emotional, social and personal wellbeing alongside academic development.

My qualifications include a BA in Psychology and History from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a BA Honours in Counselling Psychology from UNISA. I am also a registered Wellness Counsellor with the Association for Supportive Counsellors and Holistic Practitioners (ASCHP), Registration No. 13470.

Throughout my career, I have worked with children, teenagers and adults from diverse backgrounds, with a variety of experiences, needs and challenges. These experiences have strengthened my passion for creating a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where children, teenagers and adults alike feel heard, understood and empowered.

While I have a particular interest in supporting children and teenagers, I welcome individuals of all ages and aim to tailor my approach to each person’s unique needs and journey.
